Register to Vote

If you don't register to vote, in Indiana you CANNOT vote in this state.  While many states offer same day registration even on election day, Indiana does not. 

Regisering to vote is the first step you must take to exercise your constitutional rights to vote.    

A person must meet the following requirements to be a registered voter in Indiana

  1. Be a citizen of the United States;
  2. at least eighteen (18) years old on the day of the next general or municipal election;
  3. live in a precinct continuously for at least thirty (30) days before the next election;
  4. and not currently be in prison following conviction of a crime.
